On October 27, Ambassador Gudsi Osmanov met with the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Moldova, Eduard Harunjen.
The Ambassador noted the dynamic development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova, stressed the potential for expanding cooperation and the effective interaction and successful activity of our states' prosecutors. In addition, G.Osmanov was interested in the citizens of Azerbaijan, who violated the law in Moldova and brought to criminal responsibility. General Prosecutor E. Harunjen stated that there are friendly and cooperative relations within the framework of bilateral and international organizations on the basis of existing memorandum between prosecutor's offices of Moldova and Azerbaijan, stressed the importance of bilateral visits. He assured the ambassador that the work against the AR citizens would be treated with care, impartiality and fairness. Besides this, the sides exchanged views on issues of the mutual interest. At the end of the meeting the ambassador invited Harunjen to visit Azerbaijan on behalf of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan. E.Harunjen welcomed the invitation and said that he was able to visit Azerbaijan in 2018.
