The Azerbaijani state sent humanitarian aid to Moldova

On April 15, the Azerbaijani state sent humanitarian aid of medicines to Moldova in order to provide emergency medical assistance to Ukrainian internally displaced persons who crossed into the territory of the Republic of Moldova as a result of the crisis in Ukraine.

At 10 a.m., the plane with participation of diplomatic representatives of Moldova and Ukraine left Heydar Aliyev International Airport to deliver 29 tons of humanitarian aid to Chisinau airport worth more than 1.7 million manats.

We remind that in connection with the situation in Ukraine, Azerbaijan sent to Ukraine on February 27 and March 12 this year about 520 tons of humanitarian aid worth 21.5 million manats (more than 11.5 million euro) - medicines, medical supplies, instruments and equipment, as well as food.
