Meeting between Azerbaijani youth living in Moldova and the leadership of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform (ASAP)

On December 3, a meeting was held between Azerbaijani youth living in Chisinau and the leadership of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform (ASAP), organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moldova with the support of the Azerbaijani Congress of Moldova and the Azerbaijani Youth Foundation. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Republic Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova Gudsi Osmanov, ASAP Executive Director Rafael Hajibeyli and the President of the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azar Aliyev.

Ambassador Gudsi Osmanov stressed that good relations are currently being established between youth from both countries, such events are being organised in order to develop friendly relations and cooperation in all areas.

During the meeting were discussed the study process and progress of Azerbaijani students in Moldovan universities, their membership in local youth organizations. The possibility of creating ASAP representation in Moldova was also discussed.

Representatives of Azerbaijani youth organizations also spoke at the meeting about the activities of these organizations and the support they receive from the government.
