Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the declaration of mourning in the Republic of Azerbaijan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring mourning in the Republic of Azerbaijan to honor the memory of the victims of the crash of the passenger aircraft Embraer 190 belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC on the Baku-Grozny flight (Russian Federation).

On December 25, 2024, an Embraer 190 passenger aircraft en route Baku-Grozny (Russian Federation) crashed, causing numerous casualties.

In accordance with paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and sharing the grief of the families of the victims of the airplane crash, I adopt a decree:

To declare December 26, 2024 a day of mourning in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
