A photo exhibition was opened at the National Museum of History of Moldova on the occasion of the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty"

The National Museum of History of Moldova has opened a photography exhibition dedicated to the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" marked in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Moldova, was attended by the member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Vitalie Jacot, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

In his speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova, Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, stressed out that 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution and the 5th anniversary  of Victory in the Patriotic War, and that 2025 has been declared the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The diplomat drew attention to the fact that among the photographs displayed at the exhibition there are also photographs reflecting the liberation of Baku from Dashnak-Bolshevik occupation by the Caucasian Islamic Army in 1918, the brilliant Victory in the Patriotic War under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief President Ilham Aliyev, and the country's development.

The director of the National Museum of History of Moldova, Eugeniu Sava, and member of Parliament Vitalie Jacot noted in their speeches that the constitution plays an important role in the development of every country and stated that the exhibition will generate great interest among residents and guests to the capital.
