Information regarding traveling and work of foreigners and stateless persons during IV Islamic Solidarity Games on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No 2703 (02.03.2017) on certain measures connected with organizing and implementation of IV Islamic Solidarity Games, foreigners and stateless persons that successfully passed accreditation procedures arriving in the Republic  of Azerbaijan from  April 1, 2017 till July 1, 2017, will be able to enter and leave visa free to/from the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of providing passport or other travel document allowing border crossing and a valid accreditation card. 

Foreigners and stateless persons employed either during organization or implementation of the IV Islamic Solidarity Games on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided that they successfully passed accreditation procedure will not require issuance of work permits. 

Simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with 2017 Formula 1 Gran-Prix of Azerbaijan

 -         According to the Order  of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan  No 2702, dated March 02, 2017 on simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with Formula 1 Gran-Prix of Azerbaijan may obtain visa from May 15, 2017 till June 15, 2017 from the Foreign Ministry Consular Department structural units located at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

One of the following documents shall be regarded as a basis for visa issuance:

1. 1.     A card proving permanent accredation or any other document of a person in accordance with revelant rules of the Formula 1 Management Limited and the International Automobile Federation, the international organizers of Formula 1  Gran-Prix of Azerbaijan.
2. 2.     A card proving permanent accredation at Baku City Ring Operation Company.

-         At the same time foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with Formula 1 Gran-Prix of Azerbaijan may obtain electronic visa through “ASAN Viza”  (evisa.gov.az) system.
