On November 10, the event dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was held at the Turkey Embassy in Moldova.

The event was attended by representatives of the embassies of Turkey and Azerbaijan in Moldova, as well as Turks and Azerbaijanis  people living in Moldova. At the beginning of the event the participants laid a wreath at the monument of Ataturk. Welcoming the audience, the Turkey Ambassador to Moldova Hulusi Kilic spoke about the life and work of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, his great services to the Turkish world. Remembering the words of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk: "Someone is buried on the ground, and someone in the hearts ...", the ambassador stressed that the great son of the Turkish world, will live forever in the memory and at the hearts of the Turkish peoples. Expressing gratitude to the representatives of Azerbaijan for participation in the event, the ambassador recalled Ataturk's famous words: "Joy of Azerbaijan is our joy, they sorrow is our sorrow, Azerbaijan is our brother".
